My paintings are not only based on observation, but also on feeling and interpretation, expressed in colours and compsition, no pure imitation.

Natuur is niet te kopiëren; het is een interactie tussen oog en geest, een persoonlijke interpretatie, een verbond tussen kleur en harmonie.

Nature is not to copy; It is an interaction between eye and mind, a personal interpretation, a convenant between colour an harmony.
